How to: RSVP for Swim with Pedro
If you’re planning on coming to a Swim With Pedro weekly workout, we ask the you RSVP on the appropriate event page. This allows us to have a headcount so we can provide adequate coaches and safety to ensure a happy swim for everyone!
While most swimmers have RSVP’d just fine, we have received some questions about this process.
I thought I RSVP’d for a specific date, but my confirmation email says I’ve registered for December 1, 2013. Why? If you are 100% sure you registered for the correct date, it might be a system hiccup and for that we apologize! That said, do try again before emailing us. You may have accidentally selected December 1st on the calendar. We have tested RSVPing, and confirmation emails do return the correct date, so please follow the steps below to RSVP correctly.
How can I be sure I RSVP’d for the correct date, even if my confirmation email says the wrong one? Follow the same steps below, but instead of RSVPing again, you can check the list of attendees at the bottom for your name. If you are there, we’ve got you for the right date.
The confirmation email says I have to fill out a waiver. Do I have to do this each time I RSVP and attend a weekly swim? Nope! The waiver is good for the year you signed it in. Each year you must sign a new waiver.
STEP FOUR RSVP by clicking “Attending Event” at the bottom of the event page, and enter in your name and email. While the comment box is optional, if you’re afraid it might RSVP you for the wrong date, you can always reconfirm it there. Be sure to check the box for email notification for your confirmation before clicking Join!
