  • Strait of Magellan

The Strait of Magellan is one of the most challenging open water swims in the world. Only a handful of people have ever successfully completed the 2.4-mile swim through the notoriously, treacherous waters between the southernmost tip of Chile and Tierra del Fuego.

The Patagonian mountains in the southern tip of South America serve as a stunningly beautiful backdrop for this swim across the frigid, Antarctic waters of Beagle Channel.
