ExpiredSwim Around the Rock (kayak/SUP)

This swim starts off at St. Francis Beach, heads out to the west side of Alcatraz, proceeds around the back of the island, and then goes from the east side back to Aquatic Park. This is a long and challenging event for swimmers. It requires good coordination of kayakers and thoughtful swimmer management by individual kayakers once the pack gets very spread out.
Paddlers will launch from St. Francis Beach and finish at Aquatic Park

Event Schedule
6:30 am - Meet up, gear up, and sign in.
7:00 am - Briefing. Be fully ready to launch at this time.
7:30 am - Swimmers jump and swim starts.
