Expired 5k Swim Challenge (kayak/sup)

This swim launches from the beach near the West Bluff picnic area in the Presidio, heads toward Anita Rock, travels along Crissy Field toward the Yacht Club, and then on to finish at Aquatic Park, where swimmers will take the long route along the inside of the municipal pier wall before landing at the east end of Aquatic Park beach. Event Schedule

• 6:15am Meet at the West Bluff Picnic area beach (near the Warming Hut), ready to launch
• 6:30 Briefing
• 7:00  Jump in and start the swim

Basic Safety Precautions and Limits for Covid-19 (still)

1. Appropriate physical distancing at all times, both in and out of the water. This requires awareness and patience from all paddlers.
2. Masks must be worn at all times outside of the water and after the swim.  Please respect all participants in our open water swim program and serve as a role model so WWS can continue to operate as a small business during these times.

This is a pretty long swim, and the start is far from where the support boats are likely to be going when the swim finishes.  I suggest leaving your car at Aquatic Park at the finish line, unless you want to paddle back to the start. To facilitate this, I will arrive at West Bluff early at 5am and start ferrying people 3 at a time to Aquatic Park for those who want to move their car to the finish.
