Registration is open for Summer 2024 .  Swim date is TBD by end of January. We will send emails to registered swimmers once we receive the dates.

*Please Note: In order to reserve your spot for the Messina 2023 event, you must pay 100% of the registration fee, non-refundable.

*Additional Event Disclaimers 

  • We will only refund until Jan.31 2024 if you decide not to swim. After that ticket will become transferable to 2025.
  • After registering for Messina 2024, please fill out the International Application.
  • It is mandatory for all Messina 2024 participants to email up to date medical records, no later than 90 before the swim date. Please plan accordingly, and email your updated records to medical@waterworldswim.com
  • Please email Info@waterworldswim.com for discount codes on multiple swimmers of the same family.  2 swimmers $200 off, 3 Swimmers $450 off and 4 swimmers $550 off. Must purchase tickets as individual pricing and use Promo code at checkout. For example, for 4 swimmers of the same family, choose 4 single swimmers, fill out the form for each swimmer, then add the discount promo code on the payment page to get the discounted price.

  • We recommend swimmers go in the morning, the day before the swim, to Torre Faro Beach at la Punta to try the waters in The Strait of Messina.

  • Fly into Reggio Calabria Airport (REG) and take the ferry to Messina
  • Or fly into Catania-Fontanarossa Airport (CTA) and take a bus or rent a car
  • WWS is not responsible for airfare or hotel expenses purchased. We recommend waiting until the date is confirmed.

Water World Swim is not responsible for any booking ahead of time or airplane tickets reservations. This swim expedition does not include any of your travel, accommodation, or meal costs.
