Expired Thursday Coaching Swim at AP (kayak/sup)

Swimmers will gather at the Aquatic Park bleachers for coaching and a swim inside Aquatic Park. Paddlers will escort the swimmers to manage the route and provide assistance as needed. All the usual paddler equipment is required, including radio.

There are limited spots for this event, as it doesn’t require as many paddlers as a crossing. But we do need your help! So please sign up if you can.

Practice Schedule

6:00 pm - Meet up in front of concrete bleachers, fully ready to launch.

6:15 pm - Briefing and route instructions for the day

6:30 pm - Launch from the beach with the swimmers

7:30 pm - Last swimmers out out of the water and conclusion of the session.

Parking is typical for Aquatic Park, so please plan accordingly. Look for a large group of swimmers with green caps. Note that you will NOT receive any confirmation emails just prior to this swim, like the ones we send out for crossings. If your signup was successful, we will see on the day of the swim!
