About these swims

Back by popular demand! Following the coast between Warming Hut and Aquatic Park, these are great swims to get in more distance, and experience the currents and various conditions in the Bay. We help you train for your next long swim with coaching, fueling advice, and practice in the water with safety support.

Once we have received your e-mail, we will then reach out to you to set the date and times as well as to have you register and pay via a link to our website.  These swims will start at $350 per swimmer. This fee covers you for up to 1.5 hours of time. Additional hours will be charged at $75 per hour.

Coach Mike Lockwood

Coach Mike swam out of the womb.  He was a competitive swimmer for summer league, high school as a kid and has competed in the Pacific Masters swim league.  In 2007, he was introduced to open water swimming through triathlon training and completed his first Alcatraz.  He has been swimming in the San Francisco Bay and International waters ever since.

Coach Mike coached the James Logan High School Swim team from 1999 through 2019.  He has also been coaching open water swimmers in San Francisco Bay since 2010.  His high school coaching experience has given him an eye for detail when it comes to stroke correction.  His open water coaching experience has helped him to develop a sense for long distance, marathon swim training.  The San Francisco Bay has given him many opportunities to plan creative swims based on the desired goals of those he is coaching.
